As landscape of the disability sector continues to change across Western Australia, people with disability and their families/carers are seeking various supports to assist them to navigate the NDIS to enable them to self-direct, exercise choice and control and achieve their goals.

Support Coordinators assist participants to navigate the NDIS, link with community and mainstream supports, service providers and government agencies. Support Coordinators play a significant role in helping participants to get the best outcomes from their NDIS funded plans.

This two day course covers:

  • Foundations of the NDIS
  • Reading and Implementing an NDIS Plan
  • Service agreements/consumer law
  • Flexible and innovative use of funding
  • NDIS language
  • Review pathways
  • 1Mainstream interface
