Hear from CCIWA's Economics and Policy expert Aaron Morey who will outline the current and anticipated global, Australian and Western Australian economic conditions and discuss how your organisation can take advantage of opportunities created by the strengthening economic environment.

In addition, CCIWA has recently completed its annual Business Confidence Survey and Aaron will comment on the results in the context of the disability sector.

About your presenter

Aaron Morey is the Chief Economist and Director of Policy and Influence at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA.

Prior to joining CCIWA, Aaron was a political and economics adviser to the WA Treasurer Ben Wyatt, managing significant projects including GST reform, major asset sales, and the Bell Group negotiations.

Aaron began his professional career at the Productivity Commission where he advised the Federal Government on issues including industry development, labour markets, intellectual property, superannuation and infrastructure and energy market regulation.

Aaron has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Economics and has co-authored a number of research papers in international economics journals, including the Review of Industrial Organisation
