Employment Support Sessions in Western Australia
People with disability can take part in suitable, sustainable and meaningful work of their choice when provided with the right employment strategies and supports. With the NDIS currently being rolled out in Western Australia, and an expected full roll out of the scheme by 2019, people with disability - particularly those with significant disability - are now seeking transition to work supports.
With funding from the Department of Communities, Disability Services, through the Information, Capacity and Linkages (ILC) grants, NDS is hosting a series of Employment Support Sessions across Western Australia that aim to give guidance and develop understanding on available employment support options. The free sessions will cover NDIS Employment Supports – Transitioning to Work Using a Customised Employment Approach; Micro-Enterprise Development Training; and Parent Employment Supports Information Sessions.
If you are interested in attending these sessions or would like further information, please contact Gaelen Williams, Coordinator, Customised Employment Projects, on or 0415 999 707.
