How to manage cyber security in the COVID-19 era and beyond
As disability service providers, the data you hold on thousands, if not millions, of individuals makes you an attractive target for cyberattacks. Not for profits, in particular, are a real target. A recent UK report found a quarter of not for profit organisations said that they had suffered attacks and had to deal with them weekly.
Protecting your organisation’s valuable supporter and client data from unauthorised access should be a high priority for NFP leaders and boards. How high is digital protection in your priorities?
In Australia, the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) is releasing almost weekly updates regarding ongoing cyber issues. In the US, the FBI has seen a 400% increase in cybercrime since the COVID-19 became a global pandemic.
Maria Padisetti from Digital Armour is an IT expert who will help explain cyber security in a language we can all understand.
This session will include:
- Understanding the current threat landscape
- Establishing cyber security to increase resilience and manage risk
- Driving cyber security priorities and investments with an outcome-driven approach
