The Support Coordination: NDS Professional Community of Practice Meetings will now be held via zoom. The details will be provided to registered attendees closer to the time.

The Support Coordination Community of Practice (CoP) focuses on sharing practical advice amongst support coordinators and professionals working in other key operational roles in disability organisations. The CoP meetings support Support Coordinators to be across new requirements and guidelines, and to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in a shifting policy landscape. These meetings are opportunities for providers to share the latest information, strategies and good practice to operate successfully in the NDIS.

Since mid-2016, this CoP has hosted practical discussions on many emerging NDIS issues, including:

  • Support coordination strategies and practices
  • Role definition and clarification
  • Measuring participant goals
  • Service agreements
  • Supporting participants with pre-planning, plan implementation, and review

Please note: This Community of Practice was previously titled NDIS Coordination.

There will be a Support Coordination CoP meeting approximately every two months. Please register to attend one of the upcoming meetings or contact Anthea Gellie, details below, to register your interest in hearing about future meetings.

Who should attend?

NDS recommends that support coordinators, team leaders and operations managers are most suited to attend this event, along with those working closely with support coordinators. These meetings are a great opportunity for providers to tap into good practice and hear how other organisations are responding to key emerging issues.

Note: Organisations must be NDIS-registered providers in Victoria to attend.
