Practice Leadership Workshop #3 for Behaviour Support Practitioners
The focus of this series is the development of practice leadership skills amongst behaviour support practitioners.
The third workshop in this series will look at ways to collect and use meaningful data and how to measure outcomes.
The Practice Leadership Workshops are a series of four stand-alone workshops. Two workshop of the series have been completed:
- Training staff effectively and consistently implement behaviour support strategies
- How to engage staff teams in reflective practice
The fourth workshop will concern supporting people who are subject to restrictive practices (and their families/decision makers) to be involved in the development of their own strategies. (Workshop dates are yet to be determined.)
Learning objectives for the Practice Leadership Workshops will be linked to the NDIS Commission’s PBS Capability Framework and practitioners will be able to use their attendance at the sessions to provide evidence of their continuing professional development.
