NDS invites you to the launch of the new trauma-informed support films which are being released as part of the NDS Zero Tolerance initiative.

In consultation with the disability sector, Zero Tolerance has developed five animated films to support people with disability, their families, workers and providers to understand what trauma is, what impact it can have, and ways in which all levels of organisations can provide trauma-informed support in their services.

The films also address trauma-informed positive behaviour support and explore what supports are available for both workers and the people they are supporting.

NDS would like to thank the Victorian Government for funding the development of these films and this launch. This event is free of charge, and morning tea is provided.

Who should attend?

This event is open to people who use disability services, their families, support workers, providers and anyone with an interest in trauma-informed support.
