The first Allied Health Network meeting was in August 2022 and was followed by a 3-workshop series on Allied Health Worker retention throughout the employment lifecycle. These sessions have identified many areas where we can explore issues to enhance retention of senior allied health professionals (AHPs), supervision of early career AHPs, providing services in regional communities to highlight just a few issues.

In 2024 NDS will host two final network meetings as we continue to explore practical approaches to address current workforce challenges impacting the allied health workforce in disability.

The network is for people who lead Allied Health Professionals teams, HR personnel and Team Leaders, and others who have other AH workforce responsibilities or related interests to share information and approaches for workforce issues. The group may also help inform advocacy efforts around AH Workforce.

NDS will host Network meetings using Zoom. An agenda will be circulated a week prior to the meetings.

Please contact us as soon as possible regarding any accessibility requirements via email.
