Housing for people with disability continues to be a complex issue during the rollout of the NDIS. The NDIS policy framework as well as the Victorian quality and safeguarding requirements create significant considerations for disability service providers operating in this space.
NDS is hosting a forum to assist disability service providers to navigate the complexities of the NDIS disability housing environment. We will hear from a number of key stakeholders who will discuss SDA, SIL, Victorian regulatory requirements and the various considerations for delivering housing and support in the NDIS. The day will also consider disability housing beyond the NDIS, cover practical resources available to service providers, and allow time for Q&A.Topics to be explored include:
