Hume Moreland NDIS Readiness Workshop 1: Understanding NDIS Operations and Price Guide
If your disability service organisation is navigating their transition into the NDIS in the Hume Moreland roll-out site, National Disability Services (NDS) invites you to attend our first Hume Moreland NDIS Readiness Workshop: Understanding NDIS Operations and Price Guide.
NDS recognises that the majority of providers in this roll-out site already have NDIS participants who have been part of the NEMA experience. Therefore, we’ll use this first session to determine how NDS can best support you throughout the Hume Moreland transition, including a workshop on interpreting the NDIS Price Guide.
The Hume Moreland NDIS Readiness Workshop provides:
- A valuable opportunity to come together with your sector peers and explore actions that can be undertaken to ready your organisation for the NDIS.
- Up-to-date news from key agencies, including; NDS, NDIA, DHHS and the Local Area Coordinator.
- An introduction to key NDIS documents and resources with an overview of the provider registration process.
NDIS Price Guide Utilisation Workshop:
This session will address the purpose of the NDIS Price Guide, and how the document is best interpreted and applied. It will discuss the 'best fit approach' and the relationship between new NDIS terminology, the NDIS outcomes framework, participant goals and service type.
Who should attend?
NDS recommends strategic leaders within disability service organisations are most suited to attend including; CEOs, CFOs, HR Managers, Team Leaders and other strategic or organisational managers as appropriate.
