Demystifying Values-Based Recruitment
In the NDIS environment, many organisations are feeling challenged to find people with the values needed to deliver quality, person-centred support.
In this series of practical workshops, you will learn how Values-Based Recruitment (VBR) incorporates the assessment of values in the recruitment and candidate selection process, and how to develop and embed VBR in your organisation.
A recent study suggests that organisations taking a values-based approach to recruitment and retention are reaping the rewards. Organisations using a values based approach to recruitment and retention reported:
- Better staff performance
- Stronger care values in staff
- Lower staff turnover
- A positive return on investment
As a starter, we encourage you to visit the Values Based Recruitment Toolkit on the NDS website.
