Crisis Management - When it all goes pear-shaped
In the disability sector we constantly deal with all sorts of risks. It’s only a matter of time and probability before one of those risks turns into a crisis. In fact, for some working in disability, it feels like dealing with crisis is so common, it’s almost normal.
Yet, how we deal with those moments of crisis can be pivotal. Dealing with a crisis with integrity can build trust and respect with our team, our clients and our stakeholders. If we deal with a crisis badly, we can destroy hard-earned trust in a heartbeat – and once its lost, trust can be very hard to win back.
Following on from Jonathan’s recent conference presentation, this half-day session will provide in-depth and thought-provoking discussion and insight into the art and science of risk and crisis management. Your facilitator, Jonathan Smith, will apply adult-learning principles to make the workshop interactive and relevant to your daily experience at work. You will leave the session with some tools to help you engage with risk and improve crisis management in your organisation, improved confidence in crisis management, as well as a few thought provoking questions to take back to your workplace.
