NDS Victorian Conference 2019 - registration open and program released
The program for the NDS Victorian Conference has been released and registrations are now open.
The theme of the NDS Victorian Conference 2019, ‘From Obstacles to Opportunities’, defines our focus: working together to understand where we have come from and where we want to go as a sector. It will be held at Crown Conference Centre, Melbourne, March 4 - 5, 2019.
The conference offers members the opportunity to network with colleagues, explore examples of good practice in service delivery, better understand the implications of NDIS policy and current practice, hear from speakers outside our sector whose perspectives could be relevant within our sector, and reflect on what has been a challenging period for disability and community mental health providers in Victoria and around Australia.
The Conference will include keynote addresses from:
• Chris Tanti, Chief Executive Officer, National Disability Services
• Arthur Rogers, Disability Services Commissioner
• Darren O’Donovan, Senior Lecturer in Administrative Law at La Trobe Law School
• A representative from NDIA
A variety of plenary sessions, panels and masterclasses, along with more speakers to be announced shortly, ensure there will be something for everyone.
