The Employment Sub-Committee works collectively to increase employment opportunities and choices for people with disability by shaping perception, practice, and policy. Employment is the state of having paid work, inclusive of full-time, part-time, casual and self-employed. Employment for people with disability is further defined by type relevant to different support received, and includes:

NDS WA Sub-Committees provide a state-wide focus regarding strategies and issues that impact on the sustainability of disability service delivery, within the NDS membership. Participating in Sub-Committees is a great way to contribute, share information, keep abreast of challenges and network with colleagues.
