NDS is proud to announce this Quality and Safeguarding Forum to assist service providers in WA in their preparations to transition to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards regime on 1 July 2020.

The forum will be held on 14 February 2020 from 8:30am to 4:30pm at Telethon Speech & Hearing’s venue, the Bendat Parent and Community Centre Auditorium, in Wembley.

The forum will cover:

  • Positive Behaviour Support and the capability framework
  • Authorised and unauthorised Restrictive Practices
  • Lessons learnt from other states in the transition and audit experience
  • Incident Reporting and Investigations, including when to involve the police
  • Complaints handling and reporting
  • Resources and further opportunities to assist in the preparations
