As recent emergency events demonstrate, sustainability and business continuity is more than dollars and cents. In the disability sector, it is the people and purpose that underpin sustainable organisations.

This series will examine the changing workforce landscape, its impact on the disability sector and what you need to do to position your organisation to maximise your talent pool. Attracting staff is one side of the coin but in these uncertain times retaining staff and ensuring their values are aligned with your organisation’s values is critical.

Ensuring your staff have clarity around their goals and objectives and how they contribute to your organisation’s success is critical to maximizing performance and accountability in complex times.

Presented by leading disability sector consultants, Anson Management Consulting, these workshops will equip you to Lead Through Disruption and Change

Workshop 1 - The Changing Workforce Landscape and Implications for the Sector

This workshop will discuss the latest workforce trends and analysis, implications for the Sector and what you need to do in your organisation to attract and retain talent. You will gain:

  • An overview of the changing workforce, the impacts on the Sector and your organisation and potential solutions;
  • Recruitment, retention and talent management tools to apply in your organisation;
  • An understanding of workforce planning and the importance of recruiting right.

Workshop 2 – Values Throughout the Employee Lifecycle

This workshop explores touchpoints in the employee lifecycle, influencing and creating cultural transformation through the employee lifecycle and living your organisation's values to drive culture and employee engagement. You will gain:

  • Insights into organizational culture design;
  • Tools to review the employee lifecycle in your organisation;
  • Leadership insights to set the appropriate cultural tone;

Workshop 3 – Enhancing Performance and Accountability in Complex Times

This workshop explores various aspects of enhancing performance and accountability such as ensuring clarity regarding performance requirements, crucial conversations, coaching in complex and busy times, holding yourself and others to account and how to address performance gaps. You will gain:

  • Skill and knowledge uplift in enhancing performance and accountability; and
  • Tools for bridging performance gaps, conducting crucial conversations and coaching on the run.
