The Quality & Safeguards Transfer and Engagement team from the Department of Social Services (DSS) will update NDS members on developments related to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at this forum.

This forum organised by NDS envisages meaningful engagement and interaction between DSS and chief/senior executives from the disability sector who are associated with the registration process.

It will address: reporting incidents, the new NDIS Code of Conduct, behaviour support and worker screening.

It will be beneficial for NDS members to have relevant representatives present who can discuss pertinent issues that could affect them once the Commission begins its operation post 1 July 2018.

Due to the limited capacity of the venue, we strongly advise you to register early to secure a place for your organisation.

Representatives from the Department of Human Services will also be present to answer any jurisdictional questions around transition or worker clearances.
