In our sector, we attract staff with empathy, sensitivity and patience. How do we harness these qualities to improve behaviour and culture in the workplace? Through growing our emotional intelligence and using it to respond to our circumstances.

Our Introduction to Emotional Intelligence program provides an easy to understand framework for participants to understand the building blocks of emotional intelligence through an interactive and enjoyable workshop on emotions, thinking, feeling, self-awareness, decision making and performance. Through a series of activities, discussion and interactive facilitation, participants will explore how well they are aware of how their emotions affect their behaviour and the behaviour of others.

The Emotional Intelligence for teams Framework will look at:

  • Emotional self-awareness
  • Emotional awareness of others
  • Emotional expression
  • Emotional reasoning
  • Emotional self-management
  • Emotional management of others
  • Emotional self-control

Who should attend?

This workshop is for groups and teams looking to develop their skills in emotional intelligence. The program can be used to reduce dysfunctional conflict, improve team and customer interactions and to improve performance.

Participant size: 12 to 20 participants welcome

Cost

Full day workshop in-house (per organisation) 

  • NDS Member: $3560 plus GST 
  • Non Member: $4760 plus GST

All workshops are delivered face to face or via zoom depending on travel restrictions resulting from the pandemic.
