This presentation will discuss Australian Consumer Law in relation to delivering NDIS supports. It will identify what sharp practices, fraud and misuse of funds might look like, and explore enforcement of non-compliance and the associated consequences. The development of comprehensive and accessible service agreements will be discussed in this context, exploring how these operational requirements and provider obligations fit within the broader payment and assurance process.

The afternoon session will include (12:30pm – 3:30pm):
  • A light lunch
  • An update on key changes to prices and policies in the new 2018/2019 Price Guide

Workshop: Understanding the NDIS Price Guide

This session will identify the key policies included in the NDIS Price Guide, and discuss how the document is best interpreted and applied. It will highlight the importance of the CSV file, and explore how your services may support participants to achieve their goals in relation to the NDIS Outcomes Framework.
