Creating the Disability Leaders of the Future
NDS is partnering with SACS to present this interactive online workshop. This will be an evidence-based session focusing on how to create leaders of the future in the disability sector. Developing leaders from within helps to retain high performing workers and meet future leadership needs.
During this presentation Andrew will cover:
- Recruitment Practices. Learn how to identify the type of person who is best suited to working in the disability sector. Employees who will find the work satisfying and make positive contributions to the sector
- Staff Development. Discover how senior leaders can create an environment that will nurture talent within their organisation so that staff are in a position to step up into leadership roles which will be critical to the future of the Disability sector.
Andrew Marty is one of Australia’s best-known workplace psychologists. An active researcher in the field of organisational psychology, he brings findings from science to life so that organisations can use them in their day-to-day work. He is a popular and entertaining speaker and a skilled facilitator.
Auslan Interpreters will participate in this workshop and a Closed Captioning recording of the session will be made available.
