NSW Health has issued additional advice regarding infection control to NDIS providers of residential supports and in home supports particularly those operating in South Western Sydney.

To explore the implications of this advice, NDS will be hosting an interactive webinar with Steven Davison, Director, Social Policy Implementation and Dr Jan Fizzell, COVID-19 Response Team, Senior Medical Advisor.

Event details:
Date: Monday, 3 August 2020
Time: 11.30am to 1.00pm

In addition to receiving an update from NSW Health, this live interactive webinar will provide an opportunity to discuss the following areas:

  • Best practice approaches when wearing a mask is advised but this is not practical
  • Reconfirmation of testing protocols and processes
  • Best practice approaches for service types such as day programs, supported employment, other community access supports and transport.
  • Discussion of how providers can ‘dial up’ and ‘dial down’ their processes and procedures in line with the changing COVID -19 situation and health advice.
