The workshop will take you through the essentials to better understand the  NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission legislation.

Tim Baker, State Director in the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, will present an overview of the work of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission including
• NDIS Commission Structure
• Quality and Safeguarding Framework
• Overview of Commission functions

Louise Butler, Assistant Director of Behaviour Support in the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, will present an overview of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Behaviour Support functions including
• Role of NDIS Commission behaviour support function
• Regulated restrictive practices
• Specialist Behaviour Support Provider Requirements
• Transition arrangements

Anne Gale, Public Advocate, will present:
• The role of the public advocate
• Relevant legislation
• Informal arrangements
