We are excited to be holding a workshop with Professor Christine Bigby on group homes which constitute a significant element of the system of services that support people with disabilities. Professor Christine Bigby from the La Trobe Living with Disability Research Centre is an expert in the area with a multitude of publications.

Hear the latest research; learn about the impact of the culture in group homes and the role of practice leadership. Have the chance to explore the alternatives and learn about practical strategies to make ‘good group homes’.

The workshop will benefit and is open to:
• Those in a leadership role of accommodation support services including CEOs and senior managers
• Families of people with intellectual disability
• Service coordinators/case workers
• Funders
• Professional staff who support individuals living in group homes
