The Australia Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) report examining the rates of death among people with disability and the causes of those deaths has been released.

The NDIS Commission engaged AIHW in 2019 to investigate deaths of people who were using a broad range of disability services in Australia between 2013 and 2018 and utilises Medicare records and the national register of deaths to inform its findings.
