Disability Safe Workers Compensation Forum - Register Now, Places Still Available
10 September 2010
Disability Safe aims to improve the OHS performance within the disability sector and lower the number and cost of injuries. Workers Compensation premium costs, set by Workcover, continue to present a significant cost risk to the sector. This forum will draw on a range of subject matter experts, showcase good practice and detail how the claims experience component can be proactively reduced through good injury management.
Expert speakers on the workers compensation and injury management process, including an insurer, a workers compensation commission deputy registrar, rehabilitation providers and experienced Return to Work Coordinators/Human Resources Manager will discuss:
- The scheme structure and dispute process
- Working with the insurer
- Working with the treating doctors
- Successful Return to Work Coordination
- Management of complex claims and identifying barriers to successful return to work
This forum is primarily for Senior Managers and Return to Work Coordinators.
Registration is essential. Please register by COB September 14 2010.
