Professional Board Member Development Opportunity: places still available in Alstonville

NDS is pleased to invite current board members of not-for-profit organisations, funded by ADHC in the disability sector, to attend a customised Australian Institute of Company Directors Not-for-Profit three day Board Course at no cost to participants.

The NSW Industry Development Fund has funded 100 places. The first two courses will be held in Sydney CBD and Alstonville. The Sydney course is now at full capacity therefore applications are closed. There are still places available in Alstonville from the 4-6 December 2012. A reimbursement of up to $200 for travel assistance is available to eligible participants in regional locations.

This course is highly regarded with previous participants valuing the practical and interactive application of the course, the use of tailored case studies and the networking opportunities.

No previous formal qualification or board knowledge is required. The standard public cost of this course would be $3,230 and therefore represents a significant investment by the NSW Industry Development Fund in your organisation's professional development.

Applications for the course in Alstonville are open. Applications strictly close on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. A maximum of two board members per organisation may apply.
