Access to Panel of Experts
NDS is pleased to announce the establishment of a Panel of Experts under the Good Governance Program to deliver tailored consultancy support to ADHC funded non-government organisations. The available Support Packages focus on 10 key topics related to good governance.
The Panel of Experts is funded by the Industry Development Fund (IDF) and is also part of a package of solutions being offered to disability service providers to assist with the implementation of the NSW Quality Framework.
All ADHC funded disability service providers in NSW are eligible to access 1 x Support Package each between August 2012 to 30 June 2015.
18 Consultancies have been approved for the program. To access a support package, disability service providers should refer to the process document [PDF 490KB], liaise with an approved consultancy of their choice and complete the Authorisation Form for Accessing A Support Package [Word 442KB]. NDS strongly encourages service providers to make an informed choice by speaking to more than one consultancy.
The maximum IDF subsidy per organisation is $2,200 (incl. GST), which covers at least one day of consultancy services related to a support package. Aboriginal disability services in NSW are entitled to a minimum of 2 days support and up to $4,400 (incl. GST). In addition, regional service providers are entitled to a reasonable agreed travel supplement.
Any work outside of the scope of the IDF subsidy is subject to separate contractual arrangement between the disability service provider and the consultancy.
NDS will collect feedback from disability service providers to evaluate the success of this initiative.
