NSW Disability Industry Innovation Awards Winners 2012
15 August 2012
Minister for Disability Services Andrew Constance, last night congratulated the winners of the inaugural NSW Disability Industry Innovation Awards at Parliament House. 130 representatives from the NSW disability sector gathered to recognise and celebrate the success of finalists and winners.
The NSW Disability Industry Innovation Awards program showcases and rewards those individuals and organisations that are out there doing things differently, thinking outside the box to progress the delivery of services and achieve results for people with a disability, their families and carers.
"Innovation is imperative for a dynamic and progressive sector," Scott Holz, NSW State Manager, National Disability Services, said.
"These individuals and organisations are leading the way so that the ultimate winners from these innovations are people with a disability, their families and carers."
NDS would like to acknowledge and congratulate all finalists on their outstanding achievements. A booklet has been developed to showcase the achievements of all finalists and winners (PDF, RTF). The diverse range of stories demonstrates the innovation and dedication of the finalists and winners in providing services to people with disability.
