REMINDER: Call for Papers and posters for the 2012 NDS WA State Conference

NDS WA State Conference: Signposting the Future, Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, 8-9 November

The 2012 NDS WA State Conference, 'Signposting the future', will be held on 8 - 9 November 2012 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

NDS now invites expressions of interest to present and/or supply a poster for display at this event. Abstracts should be related to one or more of the three conference streams:

  • Person-centred
  • Workforce
  • Assistive technology

The Conference (formerly Living in the West) will provide a forum to consider and debate current practice and future directions for the disability sector. It will cater to all levels within the sector, together with people with disability, their families and carers.

Expressions of Interest Forms must be received by 5.00pm Monday 20 August 2012 via email pd@nds.org.au or fax 08 9242 5044.

Please note: Presenters will be notified of acceptance by 1 September and the final accepted content will be due by 15 October.

Registrations for the 2012 NDS WA State Conference will open soon. In the meantime, please mark 8 - 9 November in your diary.
