NDS Leading the Way Seminar 2012
Come along to this strategic free one day seminar and dinner on governance for chief executives and board members - Hilton, Sydney on 12 February 2012!
The NSW State Government, through its partnership with NDS and its investment through the Industry Development Fund, has sought to strengthen the asset base of not profit providers through strategic training and development opportunities to strengthen the leadership capability across the disability sector. This opportunity is only available to NSW ADHC funded not-for-profit organisations.
The reform agenda placing people with disabilities at the centre of decision making requires your business model to adapt to meet this reform. Concurrently the National Disability Insurance Scheme is advancing and we anticipate will be in place by 2014.
Boards and CEOs of not-for-profit providers will be required to lead and implement strategies that support new investment, manage risk and transform business.
This one day event will provide not-for-profit boards and CEOs a one off opportunity to engage with high level strategic discussion within the context of the social policy we must operate within. The program will consist of various high profile speakers in a Chief Executive position of corporate and non-government organisations.
The seminar provides an engaging forum for organisations who understand change is upon us and therefore a unique opportunity to participate in active discussion through topical master class seminars and keynote speakers on the subject of transformational change management. Importantly it will provide directors and CEOs with additional learning and networking with like-minded individuals.
The NDS Annual State Conference will immediately follow this event on 13-14 February 2012 at Hilton, Sydney.
'Leading the Way Seminar' will be supported by the attendance of government representatives for Disability NSW State Government and we look forward to meeting with you and members of your boards.
