Purpose

A network of disability services and Aboriginal communities that works with and empowers Aboriginal people with a disability and families by improved access and equity services which are inclusive and responsive.


Objectives

  1. Quantify the level of met and unmet needs.

  2. Identify, prioritise and address government established barriers.

  3. Enhance the level of awareness of the benefits in accessing disability services for Aboriginal people in Aboriginal communities.

  4. Empower Aboriginal people and bridge the cultural interface between disability services and Aboriginal communities via information sharing and networking.
